Viral membrane proteins are responsible for viral entry and modulation of the host cell. The proteins have to assemble either with themselves or host factors to fulfil their role. One of the roles of these proteins is to form assemblies which enable ion or substrate flux across the lipid membrane.Structural details about these proteins are sparse.Using conformational search protocols in combination with molecular dynamics (MD) simulations and ab initio MD atomic models are generated for application in drug discovery.
