NaInO2, which has α-NaFeO2 layered-type structure, was synthesized by solid phase method with low temperature at 750 ℃ for 2h in this study.The products were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD),scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and UV-vis spectrophotometer.The SEM and UV-vis results showed that the sample size ranged from 40 to 300 nm and the absorption edge was about 400 nm.The photocatalytic activities to decompose methylene blue of NaInO2 was obvious enhanced compared with traditional P25 under visible light, of which the mechanism was also investigated.
