DECOMPOSITION ANALYSIS IN DECOUPLING TRANSPORT OUTPUT FROM CARBON EMISSIONS IN CHINA

  With a continuously growing share of the worlds overall energy consumption,the transport sector has been acknowledged as one of the most important contributors to global carbon emissions.From two time perspectives,this paper applies a complete decomposition and Tapios decoupling index to investigate and quantitatively analyze the main factors influencing the energy-related carbon emissions of transport sector (TCE) during 2000-2014 in China,which also contains fuel combustion with electricity and heat allocated to this sector.
