随着书籍流通的商业化市场推广，书籍包装设计要体现出文化性和“书卷气”显得日益重要。现代书籍装帧设计“书卷气”之营造一方面设计师个人素质及品味、格调是决定因素，另一方面，对装帧材料的选择运用及对书籍装帧设计的整体把握也是至关重要的。
