本文介绍了万国商团于1893年庆祝上海英租界成立50周年及1897年庆祝维多利亚女王登基60周年的盛典。当时的大英帝国日渐强大,而商团许多积极成员所付出的努力也为商团在英租界成立最初几年中起到了相当重要的作用。商团在1893年至1900年总体状态良好:年度预算逐渐增加,队伍不断扩充,新靶场几经周折后也于1897年对外开放,德国队的表现出类拔萃,受到高度赞扬。
This article introduces the celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the founding of the British concession in Shanghai in 1893 and the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Queen Victoria re-establishment in 1897.
