“Live to old, learn old ” is a proverb we are familiar with from childhood. But if someone is old enough to learn for the first time, should not he break the barriers, go to the classroom and study with a group of children smaller than his own grandchildren? This is not a fantasy Tan, but the real story that happened in Kenya. The FirstGrader, a live-action adaptation of the film, vividly reproduces the efforts of an elderly person older than 80 years to regain reading opportunities. In the process, someone defamed him, stopped him, and someone understood him and helped him. And he always did not change his mind, in order to receive education, started the second arduous battle in life.
