Current executive vice president of Ford Motor Company, president of Ford Motor Company and chairman of Ford Europe, Jack Nasser, will take over as president and chief executive of Ford after Joe Demanton retires. Naser joined Ford Australia as a Financial Analyst in 1968 and held several positions in Ford International and the U.S. Operations. Nassar was transferred to the United States in 1973 to work for Ford North American Truck Business and Corporate Finance. Later returned to Australia at the end of the year as a profit analysis manager, later transferred to product planning and progress management manager. Nasser has held several appointments with the Ford International Automotive Organization (IAO) since 1975, and has worked for Ford Departments around the world in the late 1970s and 1980s, including several leadership positions in Asia Pacific and Latin America.
