文献工作标准化是通过制订各项标准使文献工作达到规范化、统一化和系统化的目标,以减少甚至消除重复劳动,提高工作效率,促进文献交流,达到文献资源最大程度的利用。同时,它又是实现文献工作自动化、现代化管理水平的重要条件之一。国际上文献工作标准化由国际标准化组织(ISO)主持取得了很多成果。国内自1979年底成立全国文献工作标准化技术委员会后,在该委员会的直接领导下,各分委员会努力工作,亦已经取得了十分可喜的成绩,制订并由国家标准向批准颁布了数十项正式的国家标准。对我国文献工作提高管理水平,逐步走向科学化和现代化,起到了十分积极的作用。
Standardization of literature work is to standardize, unify and systematize the work of literature through standardization so as to reduce or eliminate duplication of work, improve work efficiency, promote the exchange of literature and achieve the maximum utilization of literature resources. At the same time, it is also one of the important conditions to realize the automation and modern management of literature work. International standardization of literature work by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) hosted a lot of results. Since the establishment of the National Standardization Technical Committee for Documentary Work in China since the end of 1979, under the direct leadership of the Commission, sub-committees have worked hard and have achieved very gratifying results. They have formulated and approved by the national standards dozens of formal National standard. It has played a very positive role in raising the level of management of our country’s literature work and gradually becoming scientific and modern.
