What is the digital revolution? Let’s start with the computer. People say that the computer is a “great fool.” It is great, it is computationally intensive. For example, about ten years ago, the Fujitsu mainframe M-382 operated 2857 trillion times per second, and if one can do it in one second, it is almost equivalent to a person living 90 years old, poor what his life can calculate. A second is better than 90 years, this is great. But why is it a fool? In fact, the computer can only identify two numbers: 0 and 1, according to the procedures compiled by people only. We can say that the computer’s internal operation is digital, with 0 and 1 to express all the information. The reason why computers are “great” is that such a high computing speed is that it is used in what people often refer to as “binary”, that is, digital here.
