本文尝试引入对话性的维度观察黄锦树的小说,并以《阿拉的旨意》为例,探究被压抑的话语(discourse)如何通过个人私语的形式进入对话/论争的公共场域。小说表面上看来是一篇单音的(monophonic)独白文本,实际上却充满对话性,具体表现为内心独白中的双声语以及跟权威话语的对位,由此展示了对话的悖论。马华作家对于“失语”的深切忧虑致使他们作品中蕴藏着许多潜在对话,这也许是作家无意识的投射,也可能是有意为之的一种表述。不过,由于作为权威话语的代理人总是不在场,交换性的双音式(duophonic)对话并没有产生,所谓的对话只能停留于想象/虚幻层面。
This article attempts to introduce Huang Jinshu’s novel by introducing a dialogue dimension and uses “Allah’s Aim” as an example to explore how the discourse of discourse enters the public domain of dialogue / debate in the form of personal whispers. The novel, on the face of it, is a monophonic monologue, but it is actually full of dialogue, which is manifested in the dual discourse of inner monologue and the alignment with authoritative discourse, thus demonstrating the paradox of dialogue. The deep concern of MCA writers about “Aphasia ” has led to many potential dialogues in their works. This may be a writer’s unconscious projection or a conscious expression. However, since agents acting as authoritative discourse are always absent, the exchange of duophonic dialogue does not take place and the so-called dialogue can only remain at the imaginary / illusory level.
