在目前具有实用价值的各个激光波段中,以处在中红外的10.6微米CO_2激光的波长为最长。多年来,对这个波段的激光通信是否值得发展颇有争论。本文根据成电CO_2激光通信小组在1975年至1977年于成、渝、京地区所作试验的结果,以及有关资料,说明了10.6微米这一波段的特点,指出这个波段有发展价值,并论述了其发展前景。
Among the currently available laser bands, the wavelength of 10.6 micron CO 2 laser at mid-infrared is the longest. Over the years, it is debatable whether this band of laser communications is worth the development.
