Malaysia is a developing country with a fast-growing economy. In recent years, Malaysia has been extremely active in the fields of assessment and accounting as well as international consultancy. Malaysia is one of the 12 members of the International Assessment Standards Committee and one of the 13 members of the International Accounting Standards Board. As a model for developing countries, Malaysia’s assessment system and its experience have been highly praised by the evaluation community in various countries.
