汞是一种有害的元素。水、土壤、植物等以及食品中汞的测定已有现行的方法,但对于用途较广的活性炭中汞的测定,尚未见有标准方法,也未见有文章发表。我们利用汞沸点低,易挥发的特性,在多次实验的基础上,对活性炭中汞的测定,建立了加热挥发预处理——冷原子吸收分光光度法测定其中汞含量的方法,它与现行的各种汞的测定方法,如容量法、重量法、比色法、极谱法、发射光谱法等相比,该方法简便、易行、干扰少、灵敏度高(0.1ppb),回收率可在96%以上。

However, no standard methods have been found for the determination of mercury in activated carbons with a wide range of uses, and no articles have been published.
