With the deepening of their respective economic reforms,the economic and trade relations between China and the African countries have been developing rapidly in recent years.However,their mutual direct investments between them are very limited,and this has restrained the further development of their economic and trade relations.As far as the Chinese enterprises are concerned, today as the world economy is developing in depth toward globalization and integration,and under the situation when transnational corperations abroad are rushing for fields of operation in Africa one after another,it has become imperative that they should make direct investments in Africa instead of paying attention only to exporting products ,if they really want to accomplish something in Africa.The preconditions for direct investments are:a clear knowledge of the investment environment on the whole continent,a thorough understanding of the fund attracting policy of the countries concerned,and the adoption of a correct investment programme.
