提到“真实主义”歌剧,就不得不谈到《丑角》这部具有创新意义的歌剧。19世纪末叶,意大利文学界掀起了“真实主义”的狂潮,文学家从浪漫主义的美梦里清醒过来,以现实的题材,活生生地刻画人间百态。他们的创作题材不再是神仙故事、贵族的罗曼史,而是一些微不足道的下层人物。
When it comes to “realist” operas, I have to talk about the “clown”, an innovative opera. At the end of the 19th century, Italy literary circles set off a frenzy of “realism.” Writers awakened from the romantic dreams and vividly portray everything in the world with realistic themes. Their creative theme is no longer a fairy tale, the romance of the aristocracy, but some insignificant figures.
