《语文知识》1998年5期《“胈”正解》一文说:《五蠹》中“股无胈,胫不生毛”的“胈”,课文注释为“大腿上的肉”是不正确的,正确的解释应是“大腿上的细毛”,泛指人身上的细毛。因为旧《辞海》作“股上小毛也”解,《汉语大词典》也释为“人身上的细毛”。以上对“胈”的解释就一定是正确的吗?未必。因为古人对“胈”的解释原本就不一致,注音也不尽相同。如《广韵》解为“股上小毛也”,而《韵会》则解为“肤毳皮”。还有的解为“白肉也”,如《史记·司马相如传》:“躬胝无胈”注:“胈,白肉也。”其读音,《广
