国光苹果花芽形态分化始于短枝停止生长后的31～42天,如果短枝停止生长后的50天左右适与新梢停止生长相吻合,且没有立即发生强烈的二次生长,则即可出现花芽的大量形态分化——花芽分化盛期(见《辽宁农业科学》1980,5,22～24)。但是花芽形态分化只是一系列的物质代谢和生理生化变化的结果。因此,进一步探讨影响花芽形成的关键时期对我们在生产上有计划地控制花芽形成数量,克服大、小年,仍是有意义的。
