动机是决定第二语言学习成败的重要因素。它能直接影响学习者使用学习策略的频率、接受二语输入量的大小、与本族语者互动的程度、目标设置的高低、学习毅力的大小,以及发展二语技能的持久性。本文以Deci和Ryan(1985)的内在/外在动机为理论框架,通过问卷形式对长江大学106名及日本国立横滨大学90名非英语专业学生实施调查,分析了大学生英语学习外在动机状况,以及激发大学生学习动机应树立的理念和可行的方法。 Motivation is an important factor that determines the success or failure of second language learning. It directly affects how often learners use learning strategies, how much second language input is accepted, how far native speakers interact, how high the goal is set, how hard to learn perseverance, and the persistence of developing L2 skills. Based on the intrinsic / extrinsic motivation of Deci and Ryan (1985), this study investigates 106 non-English majors in Yangtze University and 90 Japanese universities in Yokohama using questionnaires. The paper analyzes the external motivation of college English learning, As well as to stimulate the motivation of university students should establish the concept and feasible method.
