编辑同志:我是一个戏剧工作者,也是《戏剧报》的忠实读者。近来,贵刊开展戏剧观念讨论,在研究戏剧基本理论方面,紧密结合演出实践,一扫过去沉闷的空气,显得很有生气。同时,其他版面也开始活跃起来。但是,我感觉贵刊在开展戏剧批评方面还很缺乏锐气。首先,剧评有些薄弱。一部新戏出来,好的、比较好的、甚至平庸的都照例来一篇剧评。每一篇剧评照例要对作品夸奖一番,多有溢美之词,少有中肯的批评。对那些实在太差的作品,不好再夸了,最多也只用“不予置评”的办法表示一下态度,而绝少见到
