随着新媒体的发展与普及,翻译中的一些常见问题被放大或扭曲,因而成为流行话题,尤以人名的翻译最为常见。本文从翻译和传播学入手,分析近期乍然出现的“双鸭山大学”现象形成的起因,探讨其背后所反映的翻译、回译、传播等因素,揭示媒体对于文化现象的推动作用,为翻译和传播界的从业者提供一定的借鉴。
As the development and popularization of new media, some common problems in translation have been magnified or distorted, which has become a popular topic, especially the translation of personal names. This article starts from the aspects of translation and communication, and analyzes the causes of the recent “Shuangyashan University” phenomenon and the factors such as translation, backtracking and transmission reflected in the literature, revealing the media's role in promoting cultural phenomena.
