我场于一九六三年由庐山引种柳杉,十多年来,已取得初步成效,并已转入大面积造林.现在,我场营造柳杉林达11700亩,其中4200亩郁闭成林.十一年生柳杉林,平均树高7.6米,平均胸经9.2厘米,每亩蓄积量5.9211立方米.优势林分平均树高8.7米,平均胸径11.0厘米,每亩蓄积量7.1820立方米.一九六四年栽植的柳杉行道树(15年生),平均高13.7米,平均胸经22.0厘米,优势木高15.5米,胸经27.1厘米,单株材积0.4481立方米.引种情况说明,柳林是适于我场发展的优良速生用材树种.
