“八五”期间,浙江省政府共拨自然科学基金2150万元(其中1991年300万元,1992、1993年各400万元,1994年500万元,1995年550万元),资助基础性研究项目798项,其中应用基础研究项目628项,占78.7％,基础研究项目170项,占21.3％。 五年来省自然科学基金委员会在中央“稳住一头,放开一片”方针指引下,按照“科教兴省”的要求,坚持实行科学基金制,实行竞争机制;坚持“依靠专家,发扬民主,择优支持,公正合理”的评审原则;坚持向应用基础研究、向农业科学、向青年科技工作者倾斜的“三倾斜”政策,110多项研究成果获省、部级以上基础性研究成果
