全国大学生电子设计竞赛是由教育部高等教育司和信息产业部人事司共同主办,面向全日制在校本专科学生科技制作的一项赛事活动,目的是培养学生科技能力和创新精神,推动高等学校电子信息类课程的建设和改革。竞赛采用3名学生组成一个参赛队,在规定的4天时间里,参赛学生要完成从题目选择、方案论证、电路设计、电路安装、系统调试到论文写作等一系列工作,是目前国内学生竞赛活动中唯一在如此短时间内,涉及内容多、工作难度大的硬件类设计与制作竞赛,也是目前国内高等院校认可度最高的学生竞赛活动之一。
