辛亥革命时期 ,湘籍志士对湖南会党进行了改造。他们结合“反清复明”向会党宣传资产阶级民主革命思想 ;在不改变会党体系的基础上 ,改善其组织、装备 ;利用会党的反清传统 ,掀起大规模武装起义。湘籍志士对会党的改造是深入、长期、细致、全面的 ,在他们的改造下 ,湖南会党为辛亥革命做出了巨大贡献。
During the Revolution of 1911, Hunan patriots renovated the Hunan Socialist Party. They propagated to the party the idea of a bourgeois democratic revolution in combination with “anti-Qing and Ming Dynasties”; improved their organization and equipment without changing the system of the party; and took advantage of the anti-Qing tradition of the party and set off a large-scale armed uprising. The Hunan Civic transformation of the party was in-depth, long-term, meticulous and comprehensive. Under their transformation, the Hunan Socialist Party made a great contribution to the revolution of 1911.
