在全国積極生產建设的高潮中,如何能設計铸品,改進製型方法,增加機械制造的產量,实在是机械製造者不可忽视的問題。固然鑄造是機器製造中採用最多的一種组成製造方法;如果铸品的设计不精、制型方法困難、或者不易清潔铸品。或者增加製成加工成本、这都會浪費寶貴的材料和人工,因此就不能同别種更好的製造方法去競爭。目前最可能同鑄造競爭的勁敵,就是現在正在突飛猛進的熔接製造方法。雖然“鑄品”在許多方面已經證明它比較熔接或鉚的機械零件來得更便宜、更耐用,伹是也有很顯明的事實告訴我們,有許多“未來的铸品”已經可以用壓延鋼料熔接製造成功了。而且許多熔接製造者已经確定的聲稱,熔接製造品有四種“自由”:(1)能自由减除過多的重量,
In the upsurge of active production and construction throughout the country, how can we design castings, improve the method of production, and increase the output of machinery manufacturing are really problems that can not be ignored by machinery manufacturers. Although casting is one of the most widely used manufacturing methods in machine manufacturing; if the design of the casting is not refined, the molding method is difficult, or it is not easy to clean the casting. Or increase the processing cost, which will waste precious materials and labor, and therefore cannot compete with other better manufacturing methods. At present, the most likely rival to casting is the splendid fusion manufacturing method. Although “cast products” have proven in many ways that they are cheaper and more durable than welded or riveted mechanical parts, there is also a clear fact that tells us that there are many “future castings” that can already be welded with calendered steel. The manufacturing was successful. And many welding manufacturers have already stated that there are four kinds of “freedom” in the welded manufacturing products: (1) It is possible to freely remove excessive weight,
