In the previous report, the dephosphorization characteristics of molten steel with Na_2CO_3 were clarified. Described in this paper is the desulfurization of molten steel, which is much different from the desulphurization of molten steel using only Na_2CO_3 because it is oxygen-blown. However, the operating results are determined in the same way as dephosphorization. Four kilograms of molten steel was melted in an aluminum crucible (Al 2 O 3> 99%) high frequency induction furnace.
