奥斯特洛夫斯基■(1904—1936年),苏联无产阶级作家。生于工人家庭。幼年曾干过杂役。1919年参加红军,在前线英勇作战。次年因重伤转业,在与洪水暴雨搏斗中得了风湿病。1927年,病情恶化,全身瘫痪,双目失明。他身残志坚,以惊人的毅力,在病榻上写成了《钢铁是怎样炼成的》(1933年)。这部小说以亲身经历为基础,塑造了在革命烈火中锻炼成长的无产阶级革命战士保尔·柯察金的英雄形象,谱写成一曲
Ostrovsky ■ (1904-1936), Soviet Union proletarian writer. Born in workers’ family. Childhood served in the military. In 1919 to join the Red Army, heroic combat in the front. The following year due to serious injuries, he got rheumatism in the fight against flood and rainstorm. In 1927, his condition deteriorated, his body paralyzed, his eyes blind. With his stubbornness and stamina, he wrote “How Steel Is Made” on his sickbed (1933). Based on his own experiences, this novel has shaped the heroic image of Paul Kochakin, a proletarian revolutionary warrior who has been training and growing up in the revolutionary fire.
