面对新世纪 ,中国的艺术教育要有大的发展和改革 ,这已是大家的共识。但具体怎么改革 ,还有待于教学第一线的师生勇于实践 ,不断探索。油画系材料表现工作室自1999年开始招收学员进行专题研究 ,从材料语言的角度拓展艺术思维的新空间 ,从文化与观念的角度寻找继承传统的切入点 ,建立学院教育与当代艺术的积极联系 ,其观念与实践都富有新意。本刊特选发两篇文章与部分师生作品 ,期望得到读者更多的关注与讨论。
