普契尼的《蝴蝶夫人》当年(1904)首演惨遭失败,而今却成为全世界各歌剧院的保留节目,也是唱片录音热门剧目之一。我听过许多不同版本的 CD,也看过多次现场的演出,就演绎的日本色彩、日本情调而言,本碟(ARTHAUS DVD 100 110)较为突出。这是1986年意大利米兰拉·斯卡拉歌剧院/马泽尔(L.Maazel)的演出现场实况录像,由日本名导演浅利庆(Keita Asari)执导。就揭示歌剧主题思想本质来说,演出颇为成功,舞美的设计、剧情的发展、角色的造型、唱腔的运用以及音乐的效果等都很考究,那种强烈的悲剧性气势,如泣如诉,扣人心弦。
Puccini’s Madame Butterfly, then (1904), was a failed premiere, and has now become a repertoire of opera houses around the world and is one of the most popular repertory recordings. I have heard many different versions of CDs and have also seen many live performances. The ARTHAUS DVD 100 110 is outstanding for its interpretation of Japanese colors and Japanese sentiment. This is a live video of the performance of L. Maazel in 1986 in Milan, Italy, directed by the Japanese director Keita Asari. To reveal the nature of the theme of the opera, the performance is quite successful. The design of the stage, the development of the plot, the modeling of the characters, the application of the singing and the effect of the music are very elegant. The strong tragic momentum, ,exciting.
