黄河龙羊峡水电站是在高深狭谷中兴建的一座大型水利枢纽工程.由于河床狭窄,泄水建筑物布置比较集中,下游消能区地质条件差且河道急剧弯折,给下泄高速水流的消能防冲问题带来了很大的困难.为了妥善地解决下游消能防冲问题,经设计与试验单位密切配合,通过长达十年之久的水工模型试验,经多方比较优选,找到了适合龙羊峡枢纽工程地形、地质条件和布置特点的异形挑流鼻坎,从而较合理地解决了该枢纽的泄洪消能问题.
