It is generally believed that a country’s diplomacy is an extension of its domestic politics. However, sometimes the internal affairs of a country often become a continuation of the diplomacy of other countries, and the mutual influence between internal affairs and diplomacy is mutual. This is especially evident in modern China. Based on this vision, this article analyzes the American factors in the constitutional post-war Kuomintang government from the perspectives of the American political philosophy, the main objective of the United States in China after the war, and the United States’ understanding of the post-war China.
