心理安全描述的是一种氛围,在这种氛围中人们能够自由地表达思想和感情。研究表明,心理安全能够发挥七个作用:鼓励说出来、促进思考、支持有成效的冲突、减少失败、促进创新、消除目标实现过程中的障碍、提升问责制。层级及其产生的畏惧会对心理安全产生负面影响,研究表明,低层级的团队成员通常会比高层级的成员感受到较低的安全水平。在建设心理安全的组织中,领导发挥着关键的作用,领导应该易于接近、承认当前知识的局限、愿意暴露错误、邀请参与、把失败看做学习的机会、使用直白的语言、设定明确边界、能够问责,这样能够培育心理安全的氛围。
Psychological security describes an atmosphere in which people are free to express their thoughts and feelings. Studies have shown that psychological security can play seven roles: encouragement to speak out, promote thinking, support productive conflict, reduce failures, promote innovation, eliminate barriers to the achievement of goals, and increase accountability. Levels and the fear they generate can have a negative impact on psychological security. Studies have shown that lower-level team members generally feel lower security levels than higher-level members. In the building of psychological security organizations, leadership plays a key role. Leaders should be easy to access, recognize the limitations of current knowledge, be willing to expose mistakes, invite participation, view failures as opportunities for learning, use straightforward language, and set clear lines. Borders can be held accountable, which can foster a psychological security atmosphere.
