Objective To investigate the correlation between glycated hemoglobin, N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide and cardiac function in patients with acute coronary syndrome (coronary artery syndrome). Methods A total of 86 patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) were divided into observation group A (without concurrent) and observation group B (concurrent) with or without type 2 diabetes mellitus (43 cases in each group), and 43 healthy individuals were selected as control group , Three groups of glycated hemoglobin and N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide levels were detected, and its correlation with cardiac function. Results The levels of N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide in group A and group B were significantly higher than those in control group (P <0.05), and the levels of glycated hemoglobin in group B were higher than those in control group (P <0.05). There was no significant difference between the control group and the observation group (P> 0.05). Glycated hemoglobin and N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide levels and cardiac function are closely related. Conclusions Glycated hemoglobin and N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide are closely related to the grading of cardiac function in patients with acute coronary syndrome. Glycated hemoglobin and N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide can be used as important indicators to measure cardiac function.
