Fons Trompenaars, born in 1952, graduated from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and is head of the Center for International Business Studies in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. He has successively held more than 1,000 cross-cultural management training courses in 18 countries and is currently managing director of Mumbai.
