蔡梦弼《杜工部草堂诗笺》刻本凌乱,各家所藏宋代残本间的递藏关系如何,50卷系统是否尚能拼合全帙,以及现存两个系统之间卷次关系、内容消长等问题尚待解答。本文试对其版本情况作一整理,以期掌握现存各本源流及优劣,从而选择恰当的阅读及工作底本。并通过对所见各版本的比对,整理蔡笺从50卷本到40卷本的演变过程,为今后利用蔡笺的方式提供参考,重新认定40卷本系统的价值及黎庶昌刊刻“《古逸丛书》本”的意义。
