为推动优生保护措施的实施和掌握全国优生手术及人工终止妊娠的状况,作者对1991年1月～12月间各都、道、府、县实行人工终止妊娠手术者进行分类调查统计。结果发现,全国共有436 299例施行人工终止妊娠术;实施率(每千对15～50岁女性人数比)为13.9;其中30～34岁实施率最高,为23.7;35～39岁次之,是21.7;1981年则是以30～34岁(32.8)和25～29岁(28.9)年龄层
In order to promote the implementation of eugenics protection measures and master the status of eugenics and artificial termination of pregnancy in China, the author conducted a classification survey and statistics on those who underwent artificial termination of pregnancy in all cities, townships, prefectures and counties in January-December 1991. The results showed that there were altogether 436,299 cases of artificial termination of pregnancy in China; the rate of implementation (number of females per 15-to-50-year-old population) was 13.9; among them, the highest rate of 30-34 was 23.7; followed by those aged 35-39, Is 21.7; 1981 is based on 30 to 34 years old (32.8) and 25 to 29 years old (28.9) age group
