Protease-activated receptors (PARs) are a unique class of G protein-coupled receptors that can be activated by specific proteases and then coupled through their coupling The G protein regulates the corresponding gene expression. The expression of PARs changes under normal physiological and pathological conditions in a variety of tissues and organs, including vasculature, nerves, gastrointestinal tract, trachea and skin. In recent years, studies have shown that there are some changes in the expression of PARs in some tumor tissues, and can affect the malignant biological behavior of tumor cells such as tumorigenesis, development and invasion and metastasis. Systematic research on the relationship between PARs and tumor will enrich people’s knowledge of tumor diagnosis and treatment, which is of great significance.
