传统的词汇学习主要采用的是领读和机械记忆的模式,造成词汇积累和运用的分离,挫伤了学生的学习兴趣。多模态理论提倡突破语言化的单模态学习方式,在课堂中充分运用非话语模式,如声调、手势、动作、图片等多种形式,激发学生视觉模态、听觉模态、嗅觉模态、触觉模态和味觉模态五种交际模态的综合运用,增加学生学习的主动性和英语词汇运用的灵活性。
The traditional vocabulary learning mainly adopts the pattern of reading and mechanical memory, resulting in the separation of vocabulary accumulation and use, which dampens students’ interest in learning. Multi-modal theory advocates the breakthrough of the single-modal learning style of languageization, and makes full use of non-utterance patterns such as tone, gesture, motion and picture in the classroom to stimulate students’ visual modality, auditory modality and olfactory modality , Tactile modality and taste modality five comprehensive use of communicative modalities to increase student learning initiative and the use of English vocabulary flexibility.
