人性是人这一物种的先天自然因素与后天社会因素相互作用而塑造出来的作为社会人的属性。教育之所以可能,是因为人的本性具有可塑性。教育之所以必要,是因为人的本性具有不完善性。人有五种本性,相应的就需要有五类教育,即以升华物性为目的的生存教育、以升华感性为目的的情感教育、以升华理性为目的的智慧教育、以升华德性为目的的美德教育、以升华灵性为目的的信仰教育。从人性视角来审视教育的本质就是将人的本性升华为符合社会需要的习性,思想政治教育的本质就是将人的德性本性升华为符合社会需要的品德。
Human nature is the attribute of society as a human being shaped by the interaction of innate and natural factors of human beings and acquired social factors. Education is possible because human nature is malleable. Education is necessary because human nature is imperfect. There are five kinds of human beings, correspondingly five types of education, namely subsistence education aimed at subliming physical properties, affective education aimed at sublimation sensibility, wisdom education aimed at sublimation of reason, and purpose of sublimation of virtue Virtue education, belief education in order to sublimate spirituality. Examining the essence of education from the perspective of human nature is to sublimate human nature to the habit of meeting the needs of society. The essence of ideological and political education is to sublimate human’s virtue nature into a morality that meets the needs of society.
