清康熙年间文华殿大学士张英治家有方,教子有术,其子孙秉承家学,在科举、仕宦方面多有成就。张英认为,创设和谐的家庭环境是家庭教育的前提,道德教育是家庭教育的核心,文化教育是家庭教育的主要内容。张英家庭教育思想的启示:用“重德教”纠正当今“重智轻德”的现象;用风化的道德教育方法纠正单纯的道德灌输现象;用父慈子孝的养育态度克服骄纵溺爱的心态;用系统阅读的方法纠正网络零碎阅读的方式;用言之有物的作文方法改变内容空洞的作文现状;用谦和宽容的为人处世态度克服自我为中心的弱点。
