In the zoo, we sometimes see the swarms of swaddled monkeys looking at each other’s fur, and if they find it, they send it to their mouth. To see this scenario, people often say that monkeys are being licked by their peers. Is that true? In fact, such a statement is not correct. Scientists have found that monkeys do not have any parasites and, of course, no lice survive. However, why did the monkeys turn around in the companion’s fur? In fact, they did something to find a crystalline salt. Sometimes the monkey sweats, sweat evaporates, the skin epidermis will leave a slightly salty crystalline salt. They particularly like to eat crystalline salts, and eating crystalline salts is their way of supplementing the body’s salt. Of course, the long-term attachment of crystalline salts to the monkeys also makes them uncomfortable, so it appears that the monkeys turn over to each other
