Objective To compare the visual acuity and corrected visual acuity of two kinds of penetrating keratoplasty (continuous surgery) after continuous penetrating keratoplasty and cataract extraction combined with intraocular lens implantation (triple surgery) and cataract extraction . Methods A retrospective analysis of 1256 patients with Fuxe’s dystrophy who underwent full-thickness keratoplasty for the first time from April 1999 to December 2005 was performed. One hundred and two patients underwent triple operation and 120 patients underwent continuous operation
