OBJECTIVE: To observe the effect of Huangqi Danshen injection on the microcirculation of rat skeletal muscle following traumatic repair. Methods: Seventy-eight male SD rats were divided into traditional Chinese medicine group, normal saline group and natural healing group. The hitting device was used to cause the middle right gastrocnemius muscle blunt injury model. Astragalus danshen injection, equal volume of normal saline and no drug were injected into the lesion. At 2 hours, 24 hours, 72 hours, and 120 hours after injury, the microcirculation of the injured gastrocnemius muscle was observed. The blank control group was normal rats without any treatment, and microcirculation observation was used as a control at the same time. Results: Compared with the saline group and the natural healing group, the microvascular contours of the Chinese medicine treatment group were clear and there was no bleeding around; the diameter of the arterioles was significantly dilated at the 24th and 72th hour (P<0.05), and the capillary blood flow was obviously at 24 hours. Increased (P<0.05). Compared with the blank control group, the wet/dry weight ratio (W/D) of the gastrocnemius muscle in the other groups was significantly higher at 2h and 24h (P<0.05), but the increase degree of the Chinese medicine treatment group was significantly lower than that of the saline group and natural Healing group (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in hemodynamic parameters between the groups (P>0.05). Conclusion: Early administration of Astragalus Danshen injection after skeletal muscle blunt trauma can significantly improve the local microcirculation of the injured skeletal muscle, and reduce the degree of tissue edema, so as to achieve the effect of promoting the healing of injured skeletal muscle.
