寿县再出大量郢爰寿县博物馆１９８６年２月１３日，寿县东津乡周寨村周家油坊队在圩子西北发现大量郢爰。我馆即前往调查并征集到郢爰３８块，又在省文物考古研究所协助下对郢爰出土地进行了试掘。郢爰出土地位于寿县城关东南约３公里，距１９７９年出土郢爰的门朝西队约１公里。此地早年地势略高，现已成鱼池，郢爰出自深约１．２米的池底瓦砾层。我们就地布方６×５平方米，编号８６ＤＪＴ。探方地层清楚，文化内涵单一，第３层和灰坑内出陶片特征基本一致，应为同期遗物。陶器有罐、宽沿盆、豆盘、器座、板瓦、筒瓦等。据了解，共出完整郢爰４２块，其中有戳记者２８块，总重１００５０克。另外还有大量零碎散金伴出。碎金与门朝西队出土的相同。郢爰出土时拱背向上，层层叠放成两排，下面铺放碎金。郢爰外形略同，似龟壳，表面内凹，背隆起，有范模条纹痕，上宽下窄。有印记者背有间断条纹。表面往往有浇铸凹窝、穿孔和工具压痕。多数郢爰左侧平直，似刀削痕。印记１５至２４不等，印相对排列，为左２排，右２或３排，一般左侧印记排列较整齐紧凑。其中１３块在一删或背面有刻划符号（如图）。郢爱长５．５—８．８、宽４．４—８、厚０．２—０．６厘米，块重２５６—９７２克。其中ＤＪ：３６无
