潮州是千年古城,具有光荣革命传统的地方。早在1907年饶平发生了丁未黄冈起义;在1925年国民革命军东征在此设立了黄埔军校第一所分校;1927年周恩来带领的南昌起义军进入潮州,建立了中国第一个红色政权;朱德在茂芝的军事决策会议,抒写了创立中国人民解放军的辉煌史册;此后饶和埔诏县委领导的工农革命斗争,使饶平成为中央苏区的重要组成部分。240多处革命史迹,是潮州丰富的红色旅游资源,也构成潮州名城文化的壮丽景象。
Chaozhou is the ancient city of the millennium, with a glorious revolutionary tradition. As early as 1907, there was a Dingwei Huanggang uprising in Raoping. In 1925, the National Revolutionary Army led the establishment of the first branch of the Whampoa Military Academy. In 1927, the Nanchang rebel army led by Zhou Enlai entered Chaozhou and established the first red Political power; Zhu De in Maozhi military decision-making conference, describing the founding of the glorious history of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army; thereafter Rao and Pulzhao county party committee led the revolutionary struggle of workers and peasants, so Raoping became an important part of the Central Soviet Area. Over 240 revolutionary historical sites are the rich red tourism resources of Chaozhou and also constitute the magnificent scene of the famous cultural city of Chaozhou.
