1994年4月20日,NCFC工程通过美国Sprint公司连入Internet的64k国际专线开通,实现了与Internet的全功能连接。从此我国被国际上正式承认为有Internet的国家,中国开始拥有了Internet。1995年4月,中国科学院启动京外单位联网工程(俗称“百所联网”工程)。其目标是逐步连接中国科学院以外的一批科研院所和科技单位,成为一个面向科技用户、科技管理部门及与科技有关的政府部门服务的全国性
April 20, 1994, NCFC project through the United States Sprint company connected to the Internet 64k International opened to achieve full-function connection with the Internet. Since our country was officially recognized as an Internet country in the world, China began to have the Internet. April 1995, Chinese Academy of Sciences launched the Beijing unit networking project (commonly known as “100 Internet ” project). Its goal is to gradually connect with a number of scientific research institutes and scientific and technological units outside the Chinese Academy of Sciences and become a national service for science and technology users, science and technology management departments and science and technology related government departments
