我在94年到花木市场上去转悠,看到一盆被剥光树皮的榆桩,已经放了一个星期无人要买。我觉得造型确实不怎样,但枯朽古朴还可以。看到它绝处逢生,有生命力,可能有培养前途,我即花200元买下了。当时,同事来了以后都从一个正面看形状(右图上),都说“无培养前途”;后来,我通过修剪、攀扎、整形、养护,从侧面看就看出了它秀丽的一面(右图中),我拍了照送到《中国花卉报》作为盆景
