词汇教学是中学英语教学的一个重要环节。词汇作为英语知识的一部分在学生的英语知识储备中占有相当重要的地位。教育部2003年颁布的《普通高中英语课程标准》对词汇教学提出了较高的要求,明确规定八级学会使用3200个左右的单词和400个到500个习惯用语或固定搭配;九级学会使用400个左右的单词和一定数量习惯用语或固定搭配。如何达到这项要求,需要高中英语教师在平时词汇教学中,采取积极有效的措施和方法,以学生为中心,增强学生的学习兴趣和参与的积极性。从学生的学习兴趣,记忆方法,词汇的讲解,应用和巩固来探讨新课程下的高中英语词汇教学。
Vocabulary teaching is an important part of English teaching in middle school. Vocabulary as a part of English knowledge occupies a very important position in the student’s knowledge of English. The “General High School English Curriculum Standard” promulgated by the Ministry of Education in 2003 put forward higher requirements on vocabulary teaching, clearly stipulating that Level 8 learns to use about 3,200 words and 400 to 500 idioms or fixed matches; and that Level 9 learns to use About 400 words and a certain number of idioms or fixed with. How to meet this requirement requires that senior high school English teachers take active and effective measures and methods in their daily vocabulary teaching and take students as the center to enhance students’ interest in learning and the enthusiasm for participation. From the students’ interest in learning, memory, explanation, application and consolidation of vocabulary to explore high school English vocabulary teaching under the new curriculum.
