概 况1991年,第一届国际语言大会(the First Language Interna-tional Conference)在丹麦小城Elsinore召开,100多名学者从世界各地赶来,研讨翻译及翻译教学问题。论文的数量及质量使大会东道主丹麦哥本哈根大学翻译及词典学研究所感到,在翻译研究领域已经出现了再办一本学术期刊的空间,于是Perspectives:Studies in Translatology(《视角:翻译学研究》)便应运而生。主编由该研究所所长Cay Dollerup教授担任。目前,有3位助理编辑及8位来自欧洲、美洲和亚洲的顾问编委,具有很强的国际性。Perspectives的编辑方针是:多视角、多层面、国际性和紧扣翻译实践。它欢迎针对翻译工作实务、程序及策略的分析和研究,强调研究的系统性、语料的现实性,提倡将翻译实践、理论和教学等方面的重要问题放在国际的大视野内进行讨论,使之具有普遍的理论和实践意义。从2000第1期开始,该刊物改由英国的Multilingual Matters Ltd出版发行,井由原来的每年两期,每期144页(由丹麦的MuseumTusculanum Press出版)扩为每年4期,每期80页,增容11%,
Overview In 1991, the first International Language Conference was held in the small Danish town of Elsinore. More than 100 scholars came from all over the world to discuss translation and translation teaching. The number and quality of dissertations made it felt that there had been room for another scholarly journal in translation studies in the translation and lexicon institute of the University of Copenhagen, Denmark, so Perspectives: Studies in Translation (“Perspectives in Translation Studies”) It came into being. The editor-in-chief of the institute is Professor Cay Dollerup. Currently, there are 3 assistant editors and 8 advisory editors from Europe, the Americas and Asia, which are highly international. Perspectives’s editorial guidelines are: multi-perspective, multi-faceted, international and closely linked to translation practice. It welcomes the analysis and research on translation practice, procedures and strategies, emphasizes the systematicness of the research and the reality of corpus, and advocates placing important issues in translation practice, theory and teaching on an international perspective to discuss It has universal theoretical and practical significance. Starting from the first issue of 2000, the publication was published by Multilingual Matters Ltd in the United Kingdom and expanded from the original two annual issues of 144 pages each (published by Museum Tusculanum Press in Denmark) to four issues of 80 pages each.
