The concept and propulsion principle of solar sail spacecraft are briefly described, and its technical characteristics and application advantages are analyzed. The current research status of solar sail spacecraft is introduced. The details of overseas success stories are expounded. The latest research plan abroad for solar sail spacecraft is summarized, and the future development trend of solar sail spacecraft is analyzed. Then the key technologies of solar sail spacecraft structure design technology, large area thin film preparation technology, attitude control technology, folding and unfolding technology and ground test technology are mainly discussed. The solution strategies and methods to the key technologies of solar sail at home and abroad are summarized and analyzed. It provides a technical reference for our country to carry out related research in this field.
